Fire up your Netflix and get ready to watch one of the worst movies ever made. This film has very little story line and a whole lot of bad acting and effects. The guys try to help you get through the film with their own movie commentary. We give it three and a half thumbs down.

This week the guys watch the 1985 cult movie Toxic Avenger, which inexplicably includes a very unfunny intro that was on the Laserdisc release. Once you get past that part the movie doesn’t get much better but at least you will have the Whiz Kids to help you get through the film.

Today the guys cover the 1979 film, Roller Boogie. The movie stars Linda Blair and uses the basic story lines that are used in about a million other movies. The movie was made in a hurry as the Roller Skating fad of the era came to an end. It should also be noted that by coincidence the Roller Boogie contest and climax of the film takes place on Cline’s exact day of birth. Enjoy!

In this edition of Shut Up and watch The Movie! the guys dip their toes into the television waters and watch the first episode of My So-called Life, which premiered on August 25th 1994. After watching the show a young Mike Cline Jr. would fall in love with Claire Danes and write her a fan letter which she would never return. This is a first in a series of television pilots that the guys will provide commentary.
